Pre-op/PACU

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Pre Op and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their condition post-surgery
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Assist with patient recovery and ensure their comfort and safety
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Skills:

• Proficient in occupational health and providing comprehensive patient care
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
